I’m Leon. I’m a junior at Stanford University studying mathematics and philosophy trying to interrogate the contours of my future career—and seeing what paths lie ahead. I try to be intellectually omnivorous.
At Stanford, I serve on the Board of Trustees, am a Constitutional Law Fellow at the law school, a National Security Affairs Fellows Mentee at the Hoover Institution, and lead Stanford Consulting. Previously, I’ve worked at ODI Global, Trivium China, did some ML research at Stanford, and worked at InCommodities, a prop trading firm. Most recently, I am a recipient of Bessemer Venture Partner’s grant program.
Beyond this, I also compose (classical) music, write poetry, DJ parties, and run a classical music related Youtube Channel.
I plan to maintain this blog as a good writing exercise for myself. In a previous life, I used to (among other things) debate competitively for Ireland.
The music of what happens.
